Blurb:

The world took everything from us.

As survivors of not only a plane crash, but two other impossible tragedies, we’d more than earned a life of peace. But time and time again, we were shown that fate had no intention of giving that to us.

Remi and I were soulmates. Plain and simple. Our love should have died in the depths of our darkness, but the sun still exists even when it’s not shining.

The secrets of our past threatened to destroy us at every turn, but for Remi, I would never stop fighting for our future.

The world took everything from us.

And we would stop at nothing until we took it all back—forever.

My Review:

The Difference Between Someday and Forever by Aly Martinez is the final book in The Difference Trilogy. This is the conclusion to Bowen Michaels and Remi Grey’s epic love story. Hopefully you have enjoyed their relationship and been on this amazing journey without any spoilers. An absolutely fabulous trilogy which has had me engrossed.

“We’re like a kaleidoscope. When all the broken shapes are together, they form the most beautiful whole. Without you, I’m just the pieces.”

The author begins this final book with Remi’s account of the day which started this rollercoaster of events. Bowen has been amazing and my heart has gone out to him throughout the trilogy. He has kept his faith in Remi, his belief in fate and destiny. His love for her never wavered. Remi has experienced so much and had very strong survival instinct.

This couple go through so much and many times I was so devastated for them but Bowen’s hope shone out. His determination and refusal to give up on their love. Just when you think they are on the same page, the author throws in more twists and turns, and I was totally surprised by the last one. I liked we got all the questions answered and had a delightful heart-warming ending after all the angst.

All three books are full of emotion and pain with some shocking revelations but amongst the betrayal and lies is so much love. This couple are definitely soul mates but it wasn’t an easy journey for either of them and at times I don’t know how they managed to keep going, especially Bowen. This is a heart breaking trilogy but such a good story that I totally recommend it.
