From USA Today best-selling authors W Winters and Amelia Wilde comes a sinful romance with a touch of dark and angst that will keep you gripping the edge of your seat … and begging for more.

Blurb:

He was mine. My protector, my lover.
My second start at life.
The man who promised me there was more than this.
He gave me hope
Until my world fell apart again.
It was bound to happen. It’s all life has given me.

Maybe he won’t break his promises.
Maybe my heart won’t shatter.
All I want … is for love to be enough.

This is book 3 of the Love the Way You… series. Kiss Me and Hold Me must be read first.

My 4* Review:

Love Me is the conclusion to the Love The Way series by W.Winters and Amelia Wilde. This has been the story about a forbidden love affair between Zander Thompson and Ella Bordeu. You must read Kiss Me and Hold Me first as their relationship is complex and complicated.

Zander was her protector but became her lover when he realised she was submissive and reacted to his BDSM methods as a Dom. He gave her hope and a second chance at life after the trauma and tragedy she had lived through but Ella is still struggling even after all Zander and The Firm has done to help her. After the cliffhanger of Hold Me, Zander is full of anger and petrified he will lose Ella. He is determined to do everything he can for her. He knows he messed up and failed her but will work out a way to fix it because he loves her.

“She’s mine and she’ meant to be mine.”

Ella still misses James and is unsure about her relationship with Zander. We find out bits about her childhood and some of the things that happened. James was her first love and kept her secrets even the dark ones. She is worth a lot so she only trusts her inner circle of friends especially as they know what she has been through and done.

Zander is concerned over Kam and can’t work out if he’s an ally or an enemy. He knows that Kam has dedicated his life to looking after Ella and made sacrifices for her. When the secrets start to be revealed we get a hint that Kam’s childhood wasn’t a good one either. There turns out to be lots of family secrets and loose ends to tie up before Ella can feel settled.

Zander just wants to make her feel loved and wanted but she doesn’t trust happiness. Will his love be enough in her manipulative and abusive world. Both Zander and Kam just want her to be safe but someone from her past has other ideas.

A very hopeful and sweet ending to this couple’s story after most of the mystery is uncovered. I must admit I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get all the information about what had happened to Ella and exactly what she had done. As I said for the previous book, I think this trilogy would have made an excellent duet as the relationship had the makings of a good story.
